Educated: PLC, East Melbourne 1929-30. She had finished at Wickliffe Primary School and had been doing school by correspondence at home until Auntie Edie (Charles Ford's wife Edith in Willaura) said to Cath's parents that she should still be attending school.
Catherine married Donald Montague Mackenzie in 1948 in Presbyterian Church, Wattletree Rd, Malvern. (Donald Montague Mackenzie was born on 26 Sep 1917, died on 17 Oct 1998 in Moruya (District Hospital), NSW and was buried in 1998 in Narooma Cemetry, Narooma, NSW.). The cause of his death was Metastatic bowel cancer. |
