Florence married James Ford, son of Robert Ford and Mary Somerville Haig, on 5 Jun 1918 in NSW. (James Ford was born on 30 Dec 1882 in Wickliffe, VIC, Australia and died on 20 Oct 1967.)

After Elizabeth Jenkins died, her sister Florence lived as housekeeper to look after the 2 young children. At that time, it was illegal in Victoria to marry your dead wife's sister, therefore James and Flo were later married in NSW.
